Senior Emergency Preparedness

PrepLO is hosting a four-part series for seniors who live independently that includes Be 2 Weeks Ready training. Learn to create realistic emergency plans, assembly essential supplies, and practice self-care strategies. The Lake Oswego Fire Department also provides hands-only CPR training along with AED training teaching individuals how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) to treat sudden cardiac arrest.

Preparedness for Adults & Families

PrepLO is hosting multiple one-day workshops that includes Be 2 Weeks Ready training to help people prepare for emergencies alongside their friends, family, and neighbors. Oregon's Department of Emergency Management (OEM) designed the Be 2 Week Ready program to help individuals create an emergency plan and have enough supplies on hand for everyone in a household to survive for at least two weeks following a disaster. Participants receive a Tool Kit organized into eight user-friendly lessons filled with helpful hints, fun projects and resources to help you prepare for a disaster.
The Lake Oswego Fire Department also provides hands-only CPR training along with AED training teaching individuals how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) to treat sudden cardiac arrest.
Training is suitable for adults and teens.
